Software Tester

**Job Title:** Software Tester **About the Role:** We are seeking an entry-level Software Tester to join our dynamic QA team in Bangalore. In this role, you will work closely with developers and product owners to ensure the highest quality of our software products. You will gain hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. **Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans for new and existing features - Perform manual functional, regression, and integration testing of applications built in Java and C - Log, track, and report defects using a bug-tracking tool - Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues - Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives - Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test guidelines, and best practices **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field - 0–2 years of experience in software testing or internship roles - Proficiency in Java and C programming for test development - Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC - Familiarity with writing clear and concise test cases and bug reports - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills **Preferred Qualifications:** - Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level) - Experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG - Knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins) - Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA or TestRail - Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments
