
Role Purpose
The Operations & HR Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational, HR, administrative and compliance support functions of the business. The role acts as the central coordination point between employees, management, finance, IT, external service providers and DIFC authorities, ensuring the smooth onboarding and support of employees, payroll accuracy, office administration and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Resources & Employee Lifecycle Management
Recruitment & Hiring
- Prepare and issue employment documentation, including:
- Offer Letters
- Employment Contracts
- Sign-On Bonus Letters
- Guaranteed Bonus Letters
- Coordinate with management on new hire requirements and employment terms[AM1] .
Employee Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end onboarding for all new employees.
- Upon receipt of the signed Offer Letter & Employment Contract, send a welcome email to the employee with the internal induction form and DIFC document checklist for visa processing.
- Coordinate DIFC employment visa processing for employees and eligible dependents.[AM2]
- Once medical fitness test is scheduled, put it in the employee calendar and share the SR email and the EID registration form (as this is required for visa processing)
- Follow DIFC onboarding procedures and maintain internal ‘’personal folder’’ records.
- Complete onboarding through the Dayforce portal; or Submit International Employee Forms to the People Services team where required.
- Ensure all employee records are maintained accurately.
- Inform Jezreel of the number of holidays the staff member has as per employment contract.
- Ensure the expenses, business travel and leave form is shared with new employees
- Send the Group Life Assurance beneficiary nomination form is shared with new employee and shared with people services for filing.
- Ensure the Staff Privacy Notice – DIFC is shared with new employee and filed under personal folders.
- Contact compliance to organise new joiner trainings on DIFC/DFSA.
- Print business cards for new employee (300 client facing – brokers) (50-100 for back support staff). When printing for new employee, ask existing brokers if they are in need of cards, printing in bulk, saves money)
- Share bank details with Sam and Vimal for payroll onboarding and call back verification.
