Senior Java Developer

**Job Title:** Senior Java Developer **About the Role:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer based in Bangalore to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks, along with a strong understanding of software architecture and best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and mentor junior developers. **Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring and Hibernate - Collaborate with product owners, QA engineers, and UX designers to define and implement new features - Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following industry best practices - Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to elevate team capabilities - Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements - Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives - Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture, design, and code **Required Qualifications:** - 5+ years of professional Java development experience - Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate ORM - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures - Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices - Proficiency with relational databases and SQL - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) - Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js) - Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM) - Prior experience working on high-availability, distributed systems - Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring experience
