Job Summary
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the organization attracts, assesses, and hires high-quality talent. The role involves partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, sourcing candidates through multiple channels, coordinating interviews, managing candidate experience, negotiating offers, and supporting onboarding activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job requisition to onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, job requirements, and timelines.
- Develop and post job advertisements across recruitment platforms and social media channels.
- Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, talent databases, networking, and headhunting techniques.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and competency-based interviews.
- Coordinate technical, functional, and final interviews with hiring managers.
- Perform reference and background checks where applicable.
- Prepare employment offers and negotiate compensation within approved guidelines.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary recruitment partner for assigned business units.
- Provide regular recruitment updates and hiring reports to hiring managers.
- Advise managers on market trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.
Recruitment Operations
- Maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and local labor regulations.
- Track recruitment KPIs including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate, and source effectiveness.
- Maintain recruitment documentation and ensure data accuracy.
Employer Branding
- Promote the organization's employer brand through recruitment campaigns and social media.
- Participate in career fairs, networking events, and university recruitment initiatives.
- Support employee referral programs and talent community engagement.
Onboarding Support
- Coordinate with HR Operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.
- Ensure all pre-employment documentation is completed before joining.
- Support new employees during the onboarding process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Experience in agency recruitment, RPO, staffing, or corporate recruitment is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SHRM, CIPD, or AIRS are an advantage.
