Lead the design and implementation of SAP infrastructure and cloud solutions aligned with business objectives and requirements. - Develop strategies to optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. - Set up and maintain SAP cloud environments accurately and consistently. - Continuously monitor SAP systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance. - Swiftly and efficiently address and resolve any problems that arise. - Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues. - Provide necessary training and support to users and team members. - Implement necessary security measures to keep SAP operating environments safe and secure. - Perform updates to SAP software and related hardware as required to maintain optimal performance. - Document all reported malfunctions and the actions taken to resolve them. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in SAP cloud management and Azure to drive continuous improvement. Functional Roles and Responsibilities - Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and SAP initiatives. - Deploy, debug, and execute new cloud initiatives for SAP systems. - Modify and enhance existing SAP systems to improve performance and reliability. - Configure, deploy, and maintain SAP infrastructure components for optimal integration. - Manage cloud services and resources across platforms such as SAP Cloud and Microsoft Azure. - Implement security measures and protocols to protect SAP infrastructure and data against potential threats. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues & resolve technical challenges related to SAP. - Automate repetitive tasks & processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability in SAP environments. People Management Roles and Responsibilities - Evaluate and identify optimal SAP cloud solutions in collaboration with engineering and development teams. - Educate teams on the implementation of new SAP cloud technologies and initiatives. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. - Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic. Job Requirements Education/Certification and Continued Education - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert/Administrator, SAP Certified Technology Associate, or similar credentials. - Commitment to continuous learning, including obtaining SAP certifications and staying updated with industry trends and advancements. Years of Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud management roles, with a focus on SAP solutions. - Experience working with SAP public cloud, private cloud, and SaaS solutions. - Familiarity with SAP practices and tools
