Business analyst

**Job Title:** Business analyst **About the Role:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Hyderabad team. In this role, you will gather and analyze business requirements, document processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions. The ideal candidate has over 1 year of experience, with proven proficiency in Jira for backlog management and issue tracking. **Responsibilities:** - Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders - Conduct gap analysis and business process modeling - Create user stories, use cases, and functional specifications - Manage and prioritize product backlogs using Jira - Facilitate meetings, workshops, and project status updates - Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure requirements are met - Support user acceptance testing and track defect resolution **Required Qualifications:** - Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management and issue tracking (technical) - At least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role (non-technical) - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (non-technical) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset (non-technical) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement (non-technical) **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with SQL or other data querying tools (technical) - Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies (non-technical) - Professional certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA (non-technical) - Knowledge of UML, BPMN, or other process modeling techniques (technical) - Previous experience in software development lifecycle within an IT environment (non-technical)
