Quantity Surveyor

**Job Title:** Quantity Surveyor **About the Role:** As a Quantity Surveyor based in Riyadh, you will oversee cost management throughout the lifecycle of construction projects, from initial estimates and tendering through to contract administration and final account settlement. You will work closely with project teams, clients and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecasts - Develop tender documents, evaluate bids and manage procurement processes - Administer contracts, process variation orders and ensure compliance with contractual terms - Conduct risk assessments and lead value engineering workshops to optimize project value - Monitor project costs, produce regular cost reports and provide financial forecasts - Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to resolve commercial issues - Review interim payments, final accounts and ensure timely payment applications - Ensure adherence to Saudi building regulations, industry standards and company procedures **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field - Minimum 4 years of quantity surveying experience in construction projects - Proficiency in cost estimation and planning methodologies - Experience in contract management and administration - Hands-on experience with tendering and procurement processes - Skilled in risk analysis and value engineering techniques - Knowledge of Saudi construction regulations and standards - Strong proficiency in MS Office and cost management software **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master’s degree or professional accreditation (e.g. MRICS) - 6–10 years of experience on large-scale construction projects - Familiarity with estimating software (e.g. CostX, Sage) and ERP systems - Experience working in Riyadh or the wider GCC region - Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills - Fluent in English and Arabic - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
