Manual Tester

**Job Title:** Manual Tester **About the Role:** We are seeking an entry-level Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team in Bangalore. In this role, you will design and execute manual test cases, identify and document defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a foundational understanding of Java and C, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. **Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios based on requirements - Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage - Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing - Verify defect fixes and ensure resolution closure - Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 0-2 years of experience in software testing or relevant internships - Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC - Basic proficiency in Java and C for developing test data and debugging - Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills **Preferred Qualifications:** - ISTQB Foundation Level certification - Experience or internships in Agile/Scrum environments - Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium) or eagerness to learn automation concepts - Knowledge of SQL and database testing basics - Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins - Experience in a fast-paced software development environment
