Vehicle Inspector and Safety Officer

**Job Title:** Vehicle Inspector and Safety Officer **About the Role:** We are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Inspector and Safety Officer to join our operations team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring our fleet meets all regulatory and company standards. You will work closely with maintenance teams and management to identify and address any safety or compliance issues, contributing to the overall reliability and safety of our vehicles. **Responsibilities:** - Perform detailed pre- and post-trip inspections of commercial and light vehicles - Identify mechanical defects, safety hazards, and compliance gaps - Document inspection findings and generate comprehensive safety reports - Coordinate with maintenance teams to prioritize and address defects - Ensure all vehicles comply with UAE traffic and safety regulations - Conduct regular safety audits and spot checks across the fleet - Develop and implement corrective action plans for safety incidents - Provide training and guidance to drivers on best practices and safety procedures - Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and safety incidents - Collaborate with management to update and improve safety policies **Required Qualifications:** - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Vehicle Inspector or Safety Officer - Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record - Proven expertise in vehicle inspection techniques and safety protocols - Strong knowledge of UAE vehicle safety standards and regulations - Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions - Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills - Effective communication skills in English - Proficiency with inspection tools and reporting software **Preferred Qualifications:** - Certification in Vehicle Inspection or Automotive Engineering - ISO 9001 or OSHA safety management certification - Experience with fleet management and vehicle tracking systems - Familiarity with ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety Management - Additional language proficiency (Arabic or Hindi) - Advanced first aid and emergency response training
