Software Tester

**Job Title:** Software Tester **About the Role:** We are seeking an entry-level Software Tester to join our Bangalore team. In this role, you will work closely with developers and QA leads to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will design and execute test cases, report defects, and contribute to continuous improvement of our testing processes. **Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases - Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects - Document test plans, test cases, and test results - Maintain and enhance automated test scripts using Java and C - Perform regression, functional, and integration testing - Report and track defects using bug-tracking tools - Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing estimates - Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field - 0-2 years of experience in software testing or QA - Proficient in Java and C programming for test automation - Understanding of software development and testing lifecycle (SDLC/STLC) - Experience writing test cases and reporting defects - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Good verbal and written communication skills **Preferred Qualifications:** - ISTQB Foundation Level certification - Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) - Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts - Exposure to scripting languages such as Python or Bash - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
