Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our dynamic engineering team in Riyadh. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, driving end-to-end feature delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and optimize our platform.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Python, Node.js, and React
Build, deploy, and manage microservices and serverless functions on AWS
Containerize applications with Docker and manage container lifecycles
Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, write efficient SQL queries
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party services
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to define and implement new features
Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high code quality
Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and security issues
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
5-10 years of professional software development experience
Proven expertise in Python and Node.js for backend development
Strong proficiency in React for frontend development
Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization
Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL
Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience with Git and version control workflows
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with microservices architecture
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines
Experience with serverless computing on AWS
Exposure to Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
Experience mentoring and leading junior engineers
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Familiarity with test-driven development and automated testing
