Quantity surveyor

**Job Title:** Quantity surveyor **About the Role:** We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, and financial control across a range of projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory standards. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects - Conduct cost planning, measurement, and value engineering exercises - Manage tender documentation, bid analysis, and procurement processes - Administer contracts and assess contractor valuations and payment applications - Monitor project financial performance and prepare regular cost reports - Identify and manage variations, claims, and risk items - Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve commercial issues - Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and company policies **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field - 4-10 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction - Proficient in cost estimating, measurement techniques, and value engineering - Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and commercial management - Excellent analytical, numerical, and report-writing skills - Competent in use of MS Office and cost management software - Fluent in English; working knowledge of Arabic **Preferred Qualifications:** - Professional accreditation (RICS, CIQS or equivalent) - Experience with cost management tools such as CostX, CCS or WinQS - Previous involvement in large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects - Project management certification (PMP, Prince2) - Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities - Knowledge of Saudi construction regulations and local market practices
