Job Description
Job Objective: To coordinate the overall information security efforts of CUSTOMER and ensure that all security policies and procedures are in place to protect all confidential data/information/documents under CUSTOMER’s property. Functional Role: • Draft, update and implement institutional security policies and procedures in coordination with the institutional security section in the Department of Community Development (DCD) • Develop and manage the Authority's risk register to identify risks related to electronic security and the security of the facility and individuals • Develop risk response plans and supervise the implementation of what is necessary to reduce risks • Work to enhance awareness and culture in the field of institutional security & network.• Assess institutional security, preparing periodic reports on it, and setting precautionary plans • Coordinate and cooperate with relevant authorities in all areas related to institutional security • Assist with ensuring the implementation of all information security controls, as set forth in the information security plan, to ensure adequate security for the respective system. • Ensure the development of plans for the security testing and evaluation of all applicable systems. Such plans shall be executed by qualified and sufficiently independent organizations to determine the extent to which the controls are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and producing the desired outcome with respect to meeting the security risk requirements for the system • Provide Information Security technical training based on CUSTOMER’s needs, and ensure consistency with the pan- Governmental training program • Cloud and Azure infrastructure administration and monitoring.• Office365 CRM and power apps knowledge and hands-on experience.• Active directory and service desk administration and support.• Conduct Information Security communications and outreach. • Ensure that all CUSTOMER vendors and third-party organizations achieve adequate security for the protection of sensitive Government information • Perform other tasks as requested by the Manager. Managerial Role: • Strategic Planning • Develop the corporate security plan and objectives • Plan and manage execution of the corporate security objectives and goals in line with the operational plan • Contribute to proposing KPI’s for corporate security, in alignment to CUSTOMER strategic goals • Budget Management • Provide inputs for preparation of corporate security budget for further review by the DG • Performance Management • Responsible for achieving objectives and goals of the corporate security and supporting team to achieve the same • Knowledge Management and Innovation • Contribute to innovation and knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvement, creativity, and excellence in performance within the corporate security and application windowsOrganizational Role: • Governance • Ensure adherence and execution of the corporate security policies and procedures • Ensure compliance of the corporate security to the guidelines defined by the risk management and quality management guidelines • Participate and provide inputs in the periodic audit of the established policies and procedures to ensure compliance• Management Reporting • Contribute to the development of the periodic reports, as requested • Propose and recommend remedial activities to manage any quality or non-compliance issues that arise during the review of the corporate security’s performance • Change Management • Manage the execution of the change management activities in corporate security including all stakeholder communications as per the approved communication plan, as required • Technology Management • Contribute to defining of the technology-related needs of corporate security,including SMART services and system, to drive automation within the direct line of work • Professional Development • Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work to improve. Skills • University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent, preferably holds a Master’s degree • Experience of at least 3 years in a relevant field, preferably in the social sector
