Position Overview
The Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering high‑quality plumbing support, installation, calibration, and maintenance services across a large network of foodservice customer locations. This role ensures optimal functionality of auto dosing systems, hand care dispensers, and other hygiene‑critical equipment to support uninterrupted store operations and food safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Plumbing Services
- Perform routine and basic plumbing repairs across assigned customer locations.
- Respond to urgent plumbing-related issues to minimize operational downtime.
Auto Dosing System Maintenance
- Provide servicing for 370+ auto dosing customer sites.
- Support projected growth, including:
- 38% increase in auto dosing units expected across 2025–2026.
- 15% annual store expansion for key accounts including Albaik, Tim Hortons, and McDonald’s.
- Support GTW pipeline growth, including 90+ upcoming Papa Johns locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve dosing-related breakdowns that may affect:
- Sanitizer/detergent dilution consistency
- Food safety compliance
- Store operations and customer service standards
Service Call Management
- Handle an average of 15 scheduled service visits per month.
- Prioritize and resolve urgent breakdown calls requiring immediate support.
- Document service visits, resolutions, and follow-up actions using company systems.
Calibration & Compliance
- Conduct regulated calibration visits to ensure accurate chemical dosing.
- Maintain documentation required for quality audits and food safety standards.
- Ensure all dosing equipment meets regulatory and manufacturer specifications.
New Store Installations
- Install and configure:
- Auto dosing units
- Hand care dispensers
- Supporting hygiene and dispensing equipment
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure on-time opening of new locations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical background in plumbing, mechanical, or electrical maintenance.
- Experience with chemical dosing systems or similar equipment (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple service calls and prioritize urgent support needs.
- Excellent documentation and customer communication skills.
- Willingness to travel across assigned regions and support multi-site operations.
