Cloud Architect

**Job Title:** Cloud Architect **About the Role:** We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect based in Dubai to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of IT architecture experience with deep technical expertise in AWS and Azure, a strong understanding of cloud computing best practices, and the ability to drive cloud strategy and governance. **Responsibilities:** - Design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures on AWS and Azure - Lead enterprise cloud migration and modernization projects - Define and enforce cloud strategy, governance, and best practices - Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to align cloud solutions with organizational goals - Provide guidance on cost optimization, performance tuning, and disaster recovery - Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation - Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements - Mentor and train technical teams on cloud technologies and best practices **Required Qualifications:** - 10+ years of experience in IT architecture with a focus on cloud computing - Deep technical expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, etc.) - Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure Functions, Azure AD, etc.) - Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale cloud solutions - Solid understanding of networking, security, identity, and access management in the cloud - Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field **Preferred Qualifications:** - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert - Experience with Google Cloud Platform - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) - Experience in financial services or healthcare domains - Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams
