Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Security Control Room Operator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will monitor CCTV and security systems, coordinate incident response, and ensure the safety and security of our facilities 24/7.
Responsibilities:
Monitor live CCTV feeds and record any suspicious activity
Operate and manage security control room systems and alarms
Dispatch and coordinate field security personnel in response to incidents
Maintain accurate logs of all security events and system activities
Conduct routine checks and maintenance tests on surveillance and alarm equipment
Escalate critical incidents to management and external emergency services as required
Ensure compliance with all local safety and security regulations
Participate in shift handovers and brief incoming operators on ongoing incidents
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CCTV Operator or Security Control Room Operator
Proficiency with CCTV systems, access control, and alarm monitoring technologies
Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal certification in security operations or CCTV technology
Experience working in Abu Dhabi or UAE security environment
Familiarity with local regulatory standards and emergency response protocols
Basic knowledge of networked security systems and IP cameras
Fluency in English and Arabic
