Software Tester

**Job Title:** Software Tester **About the Role:** We are seeking an entry-level Software Tester to join our engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through manual and automated testing. Ideal candidates will have strong Java and C skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. **Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features - Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product quality - Collaborate with developers to reproduce, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools - Participate in regression testing, integration testing, and system testing cycles - Analyze test results and provide clear reports and metrics to stakeholders - Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices **Required Qualifications:** - 0-2 years of experience in software testing or development - Proficiency in Java programming for writing and executing test scripts - Basic knowledge of C programming for code review and debugging - Understanding of software testing fundamentals, including unit, integration, and system testing - Familiarity with defect tracking tools and debugging techniques - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or TestNG - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI - Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies - ISTQB Foundation Level certification
