IT Engineer

**Job Title:** IT Engineer - UAE National **About the Role:** We are seeking a proactive IT Engineer in Dubai to support and enhance our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java development, assist in troubleshooting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable IT solutions. Entry-level professionals with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. **Responsibilities:** - Assist in design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and Java applications - Write and maintain Java code for internal tools and automation tasks - Monitor system performance and identify issues to ensure high availability - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues - Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to deliver project requirements - Document system configurations, processes, and support procedures - Participate in testing, deployment, and upgrade activities for software releases **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 0-2 years of professional experience in IT engineering or Java development - Proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles - Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, operating systems, and relational databases - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - UAE Family book **Preferred Qualifications:** - Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) Java Programmer certification - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) - ITIL Foundation certification - Internship or project experience in a corporate IT environment
