Senior Web Developer

**Job Title:** Senior Web Developer **About the Role:** We are seeking a Senior Web Developer in Jeddah to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance web applications. You will leverage your deep expertise in React JS, microservices architectures, GraphQL APIs, and database technologies to deliver secure, user-centric solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers. **Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using React JS - Architect and implement microservices-based backend systems - Develop and optimize GraphQL APIs for efficient data retrieval - Design, implement, and tune SQL and NoSQL database schemas - Enforce and implement web application security best practices - Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver features on time - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards - Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning **Required Qualifications:** - Minimum 7 years of professional web development experience - At least 7 years of hands-on experience with React JS - At least 7 years of experience designing and building microservices - At least 7 years of experience developing GraphQL APIs - At least 7 years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases - At least 7 years of applying web application security practices - Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization **Preferred Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field - Experience leading development teams and technical projects - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Proficiency with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) - Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills
