About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ESG Specialist to join our sustainability team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will lead ESG reporting initiatives, implement GRI Standards, and perform detailed sustainability data analysis to support our corporate responsibility goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to enhance our ESG performance and ensure compliance with regional and international frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and enhance ESG reporting processes in accordance with GRI Standards and other relevant frameworks
Collect, validate, and analyze sustainability data across environmental, social, and governance metrics
Prepare ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, and regulatory filings for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor emerging ESG regulations and best practices in the UAE and internationally to ensure compliance
Collaborate with operations, finance, and legal teams to integrate ESG considerations into business processes
Engage with investors, regulators, and industry associations on ESG topics and reporting requirements
Identify opportunities for improving ESG performance and recommend strategic initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, or related field
5–8 years of professional experience in ESG reporting or sustainability roles
Proven expertise in applying GRI Standards for sustainability reporting
Strong proficiency in sustainability data analysis, including data collection, validation, and interpretation
Hands-on experience with ESG reporting tools and software
Solid understanding of regional (UAE) and international ESG regulations and frameworks
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex data clearly
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or related discipline
Professional certification in ESG or sustainability (e.g., SASB FSA, CERA, CSR-P)
Familiarity with additional ESG frameworks such as TCFD, SASB, or UN SDGs
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Working knowledge of Arabic
Demonstrated success in driving cross-departmental sustainability initiatives
