Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced AI Data Engineer to join our Hyderabad team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures to support our AI and analytics initiatives. You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to ingest, process, and store large datasets, ensure data quality, and deliver actionable insights through BI solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and SQL
Implement and manage data solutions on Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks
Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to support AI model training and deployment
Optimize database performance, data storage, and query efficiency
Develop and maintain data models, schema designs, and data catalogs
Build and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decision making
Implement data governance, security, and quality best practices
Required Qualifications:
8–12 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and scripting
Expert-level SQL skills for querying, optimizing, and designing databases
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks)
Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation
Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline orchestration
Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and schema design
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in agile teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate)
Experience with big data frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of machine learning workflows and MLOps
Experience with metadata management and data catalog tools
Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB)
