QA Developer

About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Developer to join our Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of hands-on experience in technical QA analysis, utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to define test strategies, execute test plans, and maintain comprehensive documentation. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements Log, track, and manage defects in Jira and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data in Confluence Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing Analyze test results, identify root causes, and report metrics to drive continuous improvement Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and processes Required Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Analyst or QA Developer in a technical environment Strong proficiency in Jira for defect tracking and project management Experience using Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Hands-on experience with test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams Preferred Qualifications: Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured Knowledge of performance and load testing concepts Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines ISTQB or equivalent QA certification Basic scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Java) Experience in domain areas such as fintech, e-commerce, or enterprise applications
