Software Tester

**Job Title:** Software Tester **About the Role:** As an entry-level Software Tester based in Bangalore, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with developers to design and execute test cases, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement in our QA processes. **Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for software applications - Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools - Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria - Perform regression, functional, and performance testing - Contribute to test plan creation and refine test strategies - Assist in maintaining and enhancing test automation frameworks - Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - 0-2 years of experience in software testing or QA roles - Proficiency in Java and C programming for test scripting - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and life cycle - Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) - Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) - Knowledge of SQL and database testing - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - ISTQB or other relevant testing certification - Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
