Job Purpose
The Stores & Logistics Officer supports the daily stores, shipping, receiving, and
logistics operations by assisting with the handling, inspection, storage, inventory,
documentation, and movement of aircraft parts, materials, tools, and equipment
while ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable aviation
regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
➢ Support the daily stores, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations to ensure
the efficient movement, storage, and control of aircraft parts, materials, tools,
and equipment.
➢ Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing aircraft parts, materials, tools, and
equipment.
➢ Verify part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, condition, packaging, and
supporting documentation.
➢ Prepare and process shipment documents, including delivery notes, packing
lists, airway bills, and invoices.
➢ Package, unpack, load, unload, and move materials safely.
➢ Label, identify, and maintain traceability of all materials and components.
➢ Segregate and quarantine damaged, unserviceable, or non-conforming items.
➢ Maintain records of certificates, delivery notes, purchase orders, invoices, and
other supporting documents.
➢ Update/ maintain inventory records and assist with stock control, stock counts
and allocation when required.
➢ Monitor shelf life, FIFO, and calibration status of applicable items.
➢ Receive, store, and issue materials to the maintenance team and customers.
➢ Ensure materials are properly stored, preserved, and protected from damage
and maintain clean, organized, and secure storage areas.
➢ Handle ESD-sensitive items in accordance with company procedures.
➢ Assist in monitoring shipment schedules and coordinating deliveries and
collections.
➢ Track inbound and outbound shipments and maintain shipping records.
➢ Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to the Store Inspector and
Maintenance Manager.
➢ Assist with internal and external audits by maintaining accurate records.
➢ Perform filing, scanning, data entry, and other administrative duties.
➢ Maintain good housekeeping and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control within the
stores area.
➢ Comply with company safety policies and applicable GCAA CAR 145, CAR-M,
Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE), and company procedures during all
stores and logistics activities.
➢ Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager and Store
Inspector.
