Job Description
**Job Title:** Manual Tester
**About the Role:**
We are seeking an entry-level Manual Tester to join our growing QA team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
**Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing
- Document test results and prepare QA status reports
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
**Required Qualifications:**
- 0-2 years of experience in manual software testing
- Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA or TestRail
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification
- Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with database testing
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Understanding of automation testing concepts and tools
- Experience with performance or security testing tools
