Business Analyst

**Job Title:** Business Analyst **About the Role:** We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst in Hyderabad to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to define and document requirements, manage the project backlog in Jira, and ensure successful delivery of initiatives through clear communication and effective analysis. **Responsibilities:** - Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis - Translate requirements into user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications - Maintain and prioritize the project backlog in Jira, track issues, and manage sprint planning - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and product owners to ensure alignment - Perform gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements - Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback with development teams - Generate reports and dashboards to communicate project status and key metrics to stakeholders **Required Qualifications:** - Minimum 1 year of hands-on business analysis experience (non-technical) - Minimum 1 year of experience using Jira for requirement management and issue tracking (technical) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience in creating clear, concise documentation including user stories and process flows - Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Business Analysis certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA - Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) - Experience with additional project management tools (e.g., Confluence, Trello) - Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) in an IT context
